* It maintains active sessions for extended periods, preventing interruptions due to expiration.

2. **Supported Typical Scenarios:** The Manus Browser Operator can automatically execute tasks within authorized web pages. Typical applications include:
* **Information Retrieval from Databases:** Searching databases like Crunchbase, PitchBook, SimilarWeb, Semrush, and Ahrefs while logged in.
* **Automated CRM Tasks:** Performing actions such as updating customer information, analyzing sales data, and exporting reports within CRM systems.
* **Data Extraction from Paid Platforms:** The AI uses the user's own account to automatically log in, search, compare, and download data.
* **Complex Cross-Platform Tasks:** Automatically extracting data from multiple sources, comparing analyses, and generating synthetic reports. These tasks often involve multiple steps and data flow across different sites, which Manus automates to significantly reduce manual intervention.

**How It Works:**

Utilizing the Manus Browser Operator is a straightforward three-step process:

1. **Enable 'My Browser' Connector:** Within the Manus system, users activate 'My Browser' to grant the AI permission to use their browser for tasks.
2. **Authorize Control:** When the AI needs to perform a task, it requests a one-time authorization from the user. The AI can only control the browser after the user clicks 'Allow'.
3. **Real-time Monitoring:** Once the AI begins a task, it automatically opens a new tab. Users can observe the AI's operations and have the option to take over control by clicking into the tab or stop the task immediately by closing the tab.

**System Architecture and Design Philosophy:**

The Manus Browser Operator employs a dual-layer architecture:

1. **Cloud Browser:** This is Manus's traditional operating mode, providing an isolated and secure virtual environment. It is suitable for tasks such as research, web generation, and data analysis that do not require local login credentials. Advantages include cross-device consistency, secure sandbox execution, and no installation requirement.
2. **Local Browser:** This refers to the user's actual browser environment, which contains login credentials, cookies, network identity, and local configurations. It is essential for tasks that require access to protected resources, paid platforms, or authenticated systems.

The Manus Browser Operator integrates both modes: the AI can perform general tasks in the cloud and, when necessary, access logged-in systems via the local browser, enabling secure bidirectional collaboration.

Currently, the Manus Browser Operator is in its Beta testing phase and is exclusively available to Pro, Plus, and Team users. It supports Chrome and Edge browsers.
